DIY Gift Wrapping: Dress your gift with a handmade stamped pocket

I, Sandra, would like to inspire you today to create a very special present in a stamped and sewn pocket to give to a dear friend.
Techniques Used
The paper pocket holds a stamped gift tag and a tea bag wrapped in a glassine wax paper bag. I would like to share how I made this gift wrapping project. The following techniques have been used:
- Stamping & Layered Stamping with Parrot Paradise Stamp Set and Tea Time Stamp Set
- Heat-Embossing with Golden Peach and Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powders
- Coloring with Artist Markers
- Sewing with sewing machine
The pocket
I cut two pieces of white cardstock (size 4 x 6 inches). On the cover, I stamped layered leaves with the Parrot Paradise Stamp Set in different shades of blue with the Cool Summer Night Oval Stamp Set and the Sea Shore Oval Stamp Set. I also added some heat-embossed highlights to make the cover more interesting. After finishing the cover, I sewed the two pieces of cardstock together with my sewing machine to make the slip-in pocket. In a final step, I stamped the title 'Thank you so much' on white cardstock, cut the cardstock into a rectangle shape and attached the title with foam pads.
The tag
The tag consists of three layers. There is a white cardstock tag underneath a tag made from vellum paper. On top of the vellum tag, there are two tassels that I tied together with a peach-colored ribbon. The ribbon was attached with a stapler. I stamped a cup onto the vellum tag and colored the cup and the lemon with different markers from the Artist Markers Set A. In addition, I stamped 'time spent with friends' from the Tea Time Stamp Set onto white cardstock. Finally, I put a tea bag into a glassine wax paper bag and put everything into the pocket. Done :).
