I am still giving it 5 stars even though I had a little bit of difficulty matching up where the stencil goes in conjunction with the stamp. I made a couple of mistakes but once I figured it out, it came out so beautiful and put just enough color on the leaves. I love this stencil as it is very durable and not flimsy like some stencils I have bought. Especially in intricate areas they don't lift and bend as you use it. they stay flat against the paper. Very happy with this stencil! Going to try using it alone because I think t would be pretty.
I initially made a mistake when trying to order the stamps and got this stencil instead. Little did I realize just how beautiful and versatile the stencil would be and it has become my focal point for creating all my cards for my AECP Level 1 Project. Using only watercolors and a fine black pen for details, I was able to create an Asian inspired card set. While I have the stamps now too, I can't say enough for this wonderful stencil all on its own.

This set is perfect for me. I am especially drawn to foliage images and this one in particular has a Japanese calmness and serenity that speaks to me. I look forward to using it on art projects as well as for card making.
