Bought this because I like the look of checkerboard backgrounds - now I can do them in any color I want!

Great stamp set to use for my husband, a race car fan, on cards and scrapbook pages.

This stamp set is amazing due to its clarity. It's easy to line up whether you use a platform or a block. Stamp in one color, then shift one square over and stamp in a background shade for a softer check pattern. Die cut letters or flowers, mix and match the colors. The sentiment stamps match well with the checkered look, but aren't checkered themselves. I've used the sentiment stamps in many other ways as they're bold and compact.

Large enough to rotate direction of the stamp on an A2 card base.

I have been wanting a good checkerboard pattern, so when I saw this one, I was sad that it was already sold out. I was notified when it was back in stock, and I ordered it right away. Altenew stamps are great, and I will be buying more!
