Video: Making Diamonds with the Trigonometry Stamp Set

Hello, Altenew fans!

It's Lilith with a new layout and video. Today, I'll be showing how I used the Trigonometry Stamp Set to create some fun diamond embellishments for my layout. Triangles are such versatile shapes so the possibilities are endless. You can make many other shapes using the triangles in the Trigonometry Stamp Set.

How to :

1. I wanted to keep the colors very subtle and went with a tone on tone look with splashes of color. I started off by stamping the triangle shape and then flipped the stamped and mirrored the image to create a diamond.
2. For detail, I used my sewing machine to add random stitching to some woodgrain cardstock from Altenew.
3. I added depth and dimension by using foam dots beneath the different elements and I also cut out a mandala shape using the Mandala Die Set which looks a lot like a doily.
4. I matted the 8.5" by 11" layout onto some 12" by 12" patterned paper from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection and added some ink splatters using the Frosty Pink and Ocean Waves Ink Sprays.

I love adding journaling to a layout so I printed it out on some printing paper and cut it out into strips. I also used some heart shapes made with the Halftone Hearts Nesting Dies. These are some of my favorite dies from Altenew and I use them all the time.
