Stamp focus: Circled Sentiments
Hello and welcome to the final day of our stamp focus for this month. I got to play with one of my favorite sets from the August release: Circled Sentiments Stamp Set. They are super versatile and really easy to use on either a scrapbook layout or a card.
For today's post I created 3 projects with the set and each project showcases the stamp in a different way. I created a short video showing the three techniques which can be viewed at the end of this post.
THE TECHNIQUES
- Stamp to create a background.
- Stamp and emboss.
- Stamp and create a title.
On my first project I used different circled sentiments and created a stamped background. I alternated two blue colors: Artic and Carribean Sky crisp inks and used my 12*12 stamping tool for precision. You could also stamp randomly for a more free and whimsical look.
The next technique is embossing which is really easy. I used a glue ink and stamped one of the circled sentiments onto some smooth white cardstock. I then added Altenew white embossing powder and set it using a heatgun. To create the pink-yellow background I added some Pinkalicious and Maple yellow Crisp ink and some water to a craft sheet and then dabbed the paper in the ink. I used this background to create a card.
The last technique is using the set to create a title. I chose to use the sentiment: YOU MAKE ME and added a die cut from the Script Words 2 die set. There are so many sentiments on this set which means your possibilities are endless.
