How to Scrapbook in Your Planner

Kymona here to show you how to scrapbook in your planner. Yes, you can scrapbook right in your daily planners.  Amazing right?!

We are so busy planning our days that we miss opportunities to document moments of our lives. I'm here to show you how! It's so easy - you'll see!

Let's take a look:

See, I told you! Scrapbooking in your planner doesn't have to be complicated at all. All you need are stickers, embellishments and your own handwriting!

Altenew's Scrapbook Collections are full of these goodies, minus your handwriting. LOL!

For these pages, I used Altenew's Our Family Scrapbook Collection! It contains chipboard pieces that represent different members of one's family. The colors are nicely muted and pretty, perfect for both genders!

My grandmother passed away two weeks ago, unexpectedly. It hit my family really hard. No one was able to say goodbye, no one understood why this happened and why now. We weren't ready for her to go just yet. It wasn't her time. Or at least that is what we thought. My grandmother tried to warn us. Her time was near and she was ready. She used to tell us to get ready. No one wants to hear that, right? Well, we should have listened.

We laid her to rest on the 20th of February. So I decided the best way for me to catch a glimpse of her when I miss her is to document her in my daily planner. That way she is always with me. I can look back and see a picture of her and smile with her.

Here's how to scrapbook in your planner:

Decide on the day you want to scrapbook in your planner.

Decide on the photo(s) to use on that page or pages.

Adhere them to the page.

Then pick out the stickers, chipboard pieces and wood veneer pieces you want to use on your page(s).

Adhere them to the page.

Decide if you want to use your own handwriting or stamp your sentiment. I went with my own handwriting to stay genuine to the pages.

Clean and simple is my style and I wanted my pages to reflect that.
