Layered Scrapbook Layout
Hello Altenew Fans! Terhi Koskinen here again sharing some scrapbooking inspiration. Even though December is knocking the door already, I'm sharing my pink summer layout today to show you how fun Altenew Dye Inks are to work with!
The background of this layout is created using only two Altenew products: Blush Crisp Dye Ink and Layered Dahlia Stencil A. I used a regular make-up sponge to add the ink through the stencil, and to receive a random look on the backgroung I didn't make the pattern too strict. Just some ink here ans some ink there, spreading the color very gently. For more vibrant background I'd recommend to try using two or more colors. Altenew Dye Inks are perfect for stenciling techniques as they dry so quickly and are easy to work with. Layer the colors, use more than one stencil and soon you'll find yourself doing magical backgrounds!
In addition to the stenciling, I thought to repeat the bloom theme with a big pink flourish. I cut the pink paper with electric cutting machine using Altenew Our family Scrapbook Collection papers. Then after playing with the paper layers and embellishments, I finished the layout with Altenew Metallic Shimmer Ink Sprays. The shimmering effect in these mists is such a unique and rich, love the colors and how the drops are shining againts lights.
