Die Highlight: Framed Thanks
Welcome to another Die Highlight blog post featuring the Framed Thanks Die Set.
This die is perfect for crafting in so many ways. You can pop it on a card and even use it on a layout. Let's have a look at the three projects I created with it.
For my layout, I created a watercolored background using the Simple Beauty Stamp Set and some Altenew Watercolors from the Watercolor 36 Pan Set. I then cut out three 'THANKS' dies from some lavender cardstock, modifying the frame for every cut.
My embellishments are composed of labels created with the Dot Labels Stamp and Die Set and some cutout gold hearts. To create this stunning gold color, I used the Altenew Metallic Watercolors.
Some strips of printed paper make up the journaling and a couple of ink splatters fill the white space without overwhelming it.
For my second and third projects, I created two cards. The first one was super easy to make. I painted some stripes with the Altenew Metallic Watercolors and then added a gold frame. As I didn't have any gold paper on hand, I made my own using some metallic gold paint.
It is a very simple card but I love how shiny it is. It doesn't need much more.
My last card was made with the Floral Garden Stencil and once again some Gold Metallic Paint from the Altenew Metallic Watercolors Set. The "thanks" frame was cut just to have the upper part which I placed to the bottom right-hand side.
Once again, this card is very simple but the bold colors and gold accents are all that is needed.
