How to Use Simple Stamping for Memory Keeping (with Video Tutorial!)
Hello friends! Nathalie is here to share how to use simple stamping for memory keeping projects.
The new Mini Delight: Petite Reverie Stamp and Die Set is my choice for today's projects as it showcases a lot of detail in such a small format. The idea of a detailed and small stamp is ideal for simple stamping or, in this case, repetitive stamping (in a single color ink).
Let's take a closer look at how simple stamping for memory keeping can be your best way to document your stories in a simple, clean, and elegant way.

Create Patterned paper
For this project, I am using the detailing stamp image from the Mini Delight: Petite Reverie Stamp Set and Obsidian Pigment Ink to fill an entire 8.5" x 11" cardstock sheet. I simply stamped the image repeatedly throughout the page.
I am using a 5" x 8.25" panel from the stamped cardstock as the background/patterned paper for my first project. I chose to create a hidden pocket for my journal lines - this keeps the purity of the stamping as the focal point of the page - and added a simple title (You Matter Die Set) that complements the colors of the spread.
2. Create Journal Cards
Another way to use simple stamping for memory keeping is to create journal cards.
For this project, I trimmed two (2" x 3.3") cards from the remaining stamped cardstock. These became my resting/embellishing cards for the spread. In addition, I am using smaller strips of the stamped cardstock to create my journaling card and a small flag for my title work (Live Your Dream Die Cut Embellishments, Enjoy the Ride Blooming Ephemera).
3. Create Embellishments
Probably, the most basic idea for simple stamping for memory keeping is to create embellishments for your page.
I am using the Mini Delight: Petite Reverie die set to die-cut a few of the stamped images (from the leftover stamped cardstock). I am using these as embellishments in the title and journal cards.
TIP! The key is to give the embellishments a bit of dimension (I have stacked a few die-cuts together); the soft shadow they create makes them stand out from the background.
