Happy Layout with Flat and Fold Alpha Die
Hello, Altenew fans!
Today I'm sharing a layout I created using my favorite Floral Washi Tape and the Flat and Fold Alpha Die.
I started by creating some patterned paper using the Scallop Builder Stencil and some pink Altenew Inks (Cherry Blossom Ink Set). From this paper, I cut out a rectangle shape and used it to set up the photo which is matted on some patterned paper as well as some woodgrain cardstock.
The title is a piece of scrap patterned paper, from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection, where I cut out the word HAPPY from the Flat and Fold Alpha Die. This is a fun alphabet die with half alphas that fold over. Placing it vertically adds interest and flow.
My journaling is a sentiment from the Beautiful Quotes Stamp Set cut into a banner. I made embellishments using the Floral Flurries Washi Tape from which I cut flowers and leaves. I also cut some tiny leaf shapes from the Create-A-Wreath Die Set. For detailed leaves, I colored some smooth white cardstock with green inks from the Green Fields Oval Ink set using a foam blender and then cut out the shapes. All these pieces were put into two clusters to frame the title and photo.
This was the first time I used the Flat and Fold Alpha Die and it won't be the last time. It is such a fun die to use and it creates a fabulous effect!
