3D Star Ornament Christmas Gifts

Welcome to a new do-it-yourself inspiration on the Altenew Scrapbook Blog. I, Sandra, would like to invite you to make some 3D Star Ornaments with the 3D Star Die from Altenew. The ornaments are perfect handmade Christmas gifts. They can be used on presents to pimp your giftwrapping. In addition, they are great to decorate the Christmas tree.

What you need

Let's have a closer look at what you need to make the 3D Star Ornament Christmas gifts.

• White cardstock for the card base
• The 3D Star Die from Altenew
• The Happy Holidays Stamp Set
• Embossing ink and embossing powder
• Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink
• Hole punch to make small holes
• Golden baker's twine
• Washi-tape to attach the baker's twine handle to the back of the cards

First, make the stars with the 3D Star Die. Simply follow the instructions on the back of the package. Make mountain and valley folds. Use two stars for each ornament. Before adhering together the stars, add some golden baker's twine for the handle.

Next, cut card bases from white cardstock. Stamp onto the cardstock with stamps from the Happy Holidays Stamp Set. In addition, you can add heat-embossed sentiments. Simply use embossing ink, embossing powder and a heat gun to create shiny accents. Furthermore, add small holes to the star ornaments and the card base. And attach the ornaments to the cards. I used washi-tape to attach the baker's twine onto the back of the cards.
