3 Creative Projects featuring Gradient Cardstock (+Video Tutorial)

Today, I want to share with you 3 creative projects featuring Gradient Cardstock. I am so excited to have four new sets of color cardstock to work with. Layered Flowers
Creating layered flowers is probably the most widely way to use Gradient Cardstock. I am using the newly released Craft-A-Flower: CISTUS Layering Die Set in this project. The color combination in each set has been designed to easily create these realistic designs in a short amount of time. The key is Double Sided Adhesive sheets!
The size of the photo is perfect to balance the boldness of the flowers. The simple journal card design let's the colors of the flowers shine; while the title card brings all the colors and textures of the spread together.
2. Block your background
The new moderns colors in the cardstock are fresh and fun. So what better way to bring a pop to any project than to block the colors - think of it as building a wall of color-.
The Nesting Slim Rectangles Die Set creates a symmetrical shape that can be stacked to create a block formation. Now, add the Gradient Cardstock colors, and a bit of movement and you have eye-catching design!
All the space in each rectangle is just the perfect spot for added sentiments and embellishments. The Hello Hydrangea stamp set provides the perfect sentiments, and clean image; while the enamel dots accent the color and break the monotony of the design.
3. Create "Candy Paper Strips"
One of the latest trends in cardmaking has been colorful paper strips. This time, I am borrowing the technique to create a new spread using the latest Gradient cardstock release.
The colors in: New Purple, Rose Petal, Red Sunset, and Coffee Break match the ones in the photo. All it needs is well placed strips, title. sub title and sentiments. The movement of the cardstock strip guides your eye through the page. The following video will show how two of the projects come together.
